The purpose of William-Shatner.com is to report on, comment on, and link to news and information about the actor William Shatner. This is a fan site, and it has no official affiliation or connection with Mr. Shatner or anyone who works with him or for him. In fact, I'd be surprised if Mr. Shatner or his staff even know this site exists.

That being said, this site is written by a fan of William Shatner. I've been enjoying his work onscreen since I was a young man (pre-teen) in fact, and my favorite part of Star Trek was ALWAYS Captain Kirk. It's my belief that William Shatner has a great sense of humor and would enjoy the articles on this site.

Promotional consideration has been given to some, but not all, of the links on this site. For example, if you click on a link on our site that takes you to Amazon, where you can buy a product, we receive a small commission. Said item doesn't cost you any extra money, but I'm required to disclose such things.

You'll also notice text link and image ads that are served by Google on the site. These are contextual-based ads, and Google serves the ads based on how appropriate they are to the context of the content on each page. We receive a small percentage of whatever the advertiser pays for those ads too. Most of the links on our site are editorially chosen. We support other webmasters on the Internet, and when we read good quality content, we want to bring it to the attention of our readers. We don't use the "nofollow" attribute on any links on this site. If we link to it, then we're recommending it.

That being said, the Internet isn't a static place, and this site will continue to grow the number of links on it over time. If you ever find a link to a page that doesn't deserve to be here, please contact us and let us know so we can look at it. It's possible that pages we've linked to have changed over time, and if so, we'll revise our pages accordingly.
